MODIFYING OR CANCELING AN ORDER

Your order cannot be modified or canceled once it is submitted. There are no refunds on custom orders.


SHIPPING: UPS for all orders 102” in length or less; Over 102” will ship by freight. Call for quote. We use the fastest, most direct line available to us.

SHIPPING TO PO BOXES

We do not ship to PO Boxes at this time.


SHIPPING TO ALASKA, HAWAII & PUERTO RICO

For deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii, select two-day or next-day air services for expedited delivery. Deliveries to Puerto Rico will be shipped via UPS; the shipping cost is determined at checkout and will vary based upon freight fees.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING DETAILS

We will ship orders to the address you indicate as long as it meets the address requirements at checkout. Upon delivery of your items to the carrier, you assume risk of loss as well as ownership of items purchased through the website, and you are responsible for filing any claims with the carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments.  Shipping charges are nonrefundable.


Terms & Conditions

We take pride in crafting your order to your specifications.  Our process starts as soon as an order is placed.  For this reason, custom orders cannot be changed, canceled, returned or refunded at any time.  


Deposit due at time of order (excluding shipping and handling costs); balance is due 15 days from invoice date for approved accounts

Warranties

Limited Warranty

What is Covered?




We provide a limited warranty (“Warranty") on the product against manufacturing defects (i.e., a flaw in the product design, materials or workmanship that causes the product to no longer function) under normal use for 1 year. The Warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only, is non-transferable, and only applies to custom-made products in the original windows for which the product was ordered and intended. 





What is Not Covered?


• defects that result from abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, accidents, alterations, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, or failure to follow use and care instructions. Examples of normal wear and tear include, but are not limited to: fraying of fabrics, loss of color intensity, exposure to salt air, damage from insects or pets, normal fading from sunlight, or loss of pleating

• any moving parts and/or motorized products


• any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or reinstallation in the same or any other window or application.

• products unusable by reason of incorrect measurement or assembly or installation not in accordance with product installation instructions provided by manufacturer


• shipping costs, costs of removal, re-measuring and reinstallation.


With respect to Woven Wood Shades: variations in color, grain or texture or warping or splitting of wood slats in high humidity or excessively dry or high heat locations, unless the customer selects them to be made as 2 shades on 1 headrail in which the Warranty applies as is.


Neither the Columbia Shade Company nor any of its manufacturers shall be liable nor responsible for any incidental damages or for any other indirect damage, cost, loss or expense.

  No agent, representative, dealer or unauthorized employee of The Columbia Shade Company has the authority to alter the obligations under the Warranty. This Warranty supersedes any previous versions and is subject to change without prior notice.


When shipping the product to Client Service, include: an original receipt to verify the original date of purchase; your name; address; a description of the problem; and the date and conditions under which the problem occurred.
