Exterior Use: Basswood Porch Shades (stock sizes and colors available) Roll Up

Columbia’s options allow you to customize your living space using our weather-resistant colors.

North American Basswood is a hardwood with resistance to warping. Compared to plastic or other common materials basswood has a greater insulation value which helps to keep the summer heat out and the winter heat in.

2.   Interior Use: Woven Woods in Roll Up or Roman Fold

The Natural Woven Wood Collection is available in 9 patterns and will bring texture, privacy and protection form the sun for years to interior spaces.

No two shades are ever the same; truly one of a kind decor. Bamboo is environmentally friendly as it is renewable and sustainable.  Our bamboo shades bring privacy which still allowing natural light to filter in.

3.  Folding Doors (Basswood only)

Color coordinated lift cord.

Quality Control: Rigorous testing 7 step process including hanging and operating each shade. 

Options: 

- 2 or 3 shades on 1 headrail; best for widths over 84”. Consists of 2 or 3 separate, independently functioning shades on one headrail

- wood headrail: 1” or 2” (Minimum depth required for Inside Mount is 1.25”  

- 4” inset required for Clutch roller

- 7” integrated valance on Interior shades

- 4" Flap on Basswood Exterior shades; by Request

Character of Wood:

Because different types of woods are used in these patterns, the appearance of some of the colors will vary according to the appearance the screen or in the Basswood Color Decks. If you are in doubt about a color please request a swatch. 

Due to differences in the wood at the time of manufacture colors may vary slightly from your samples. Some shades may exhibit some irregularities that are common to natural wood.

If you want your shades Unfinished specifically order #36 Unfinished. 

Natural materials sometimes stretch over time. This is particularly noticeable in Inside Mounts and tall windows.  

The Matchstick pattern may naturally exhibit some twist and length measurements may vary slightly from left side to right side of shades.

Shades may shorten slightly during shipping.  Upon installation, you may gently pull the bottom of the shade to stretch it correct fit.
